  1. UGHGHGH the worst.
I have finally, since my late 40s, embraced (or at least acknowledged as routine) the fact that I will always have to go back in at least once after leaving the house. The step I haven’t yet made it to is remembering to just commit: don’t say *out loud* that I’m leaving until that trip back in. (I live with someone who considers most of my ADHD manifestations to be indicative of character flaws, moral failings, and/or personality deficits.)

    • I have learned to put things into the exact same spots every day when I return home, if I do not I forget them the next day. Usually it is my wallet or work key card, thank goodness for Google Pay and that I follow the speed limit. I also pack my work bag the night before, usually, so that I do not forget needed things. But in the instance of my camera, I was shooting with it in the morning.

As for the personality flaws of the person who thinks ADHD manifestations are moral failings… fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuhhhhhhhhhhhhhhck that guy.
