I picked up the Gaggia from FB because it had a bad seal. For 8 bucks and some elbow grease I now have a working espresso machine that is super retro. I am tempted to paint it something fun. How cool would it be if it were cherry red? It makes great espresso.
The Magic Bullet blender is small and cute. It’s not the most powerful but it takes chalky gritty shake powder and blitzes it with ice and espresso to make a shake that is texturally palatable, even if it’s not tasty. But the size is why I use the magic bullet, it takes up so little counter space that I can leave the base out and not feel cramped while I’m cooking.
